BH 100bp DNA Ladder RTU(100-1,500 bps )
The BH 100bp DNA Ladder RTU is a ready-to-use DNA size marker ranging from 100 to 1,500 base pairs (bps), designed for accurate DNA fragment sizing in agarose gel electrophoresis. This ladder provides distinct bands every 100 base pairs, enabling precise estimation of PCR products, restriction enzyme digests, and other DNA fragments.

This DNA ladder is a unique blend of PCR products and proprietary plasmids, digested with specific restriction enzymes to generate 11 distinct DNA fragments ranging from 100 to 1,500 base pairs. The bands at 500 bp and 1,500 bp are intentionally intensified to serve as clear reference points during agarose gel electrophoresis. Each band contains an approximate DNA mass (0.5 μg per load), facilitating accurate estimation of DNA quantity in samples of similar size and intensity.

Source and Preparation
The ladder comprises PCR-amplified products and double-stranded DNA fragments, purified via phenol extraction and buffered in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) and 10 mM EDTA to ensure stability and integrity.

Figure 1. Agarose gel electrophoresis analysis of DNA ladder samples from different production lots stored at -20°C since 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021. The gel image demonstrates that both the oldest and the most recently produced DNA ladders retain equivalent performance despite extended storage times. This confirms the long shelf life and stability of the DNA ladder product as specified in the storage protocol.
